What you’ll do

As Director, Winning Work, you will lead a dedicated team of professionals responsible for working with leaders to shape how we position and secure major and high-value opportunities with our clients. You will elevate Aurecon’s winning work performance by strengthen pursuit excellence and developing the practices and capabilities that ensure we win the projects that matter most.

You will:
  • Lead Aurecon's Winning Work function and strengthen our competitive position through the delivery of the following services; Pre-Bid Work, Proposal and Bid Management, and Bid Visual Design.
  • Partner with leaders to develop win strategies, messaging, and submission structures aligned to client drivers, differentiators, and market positioning.
  • Lead a geographically dispersed team across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, ensuring alignment of team members to the most important opportunities.
  • Drive the adoption of digital, data and AI-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency, insight and pursuit outcomes.
  • Develop repeatable bidding frameworks and practices to improve team efficiency and outcomes for all stakeholders.
What you’ll bring

You are a highly regarded leader with a reputation for building high-performing teams and collaborative relationships with leaders and cross functional teams, delivering pursuit outcomes aligned to business priorities in complex professional services, environments.

You bring:

  • Proven executive leadership capability, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, build trusted relationships and align diverse teams behind a common vision and priorities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of working with leaders to translate market opportunities into measurable outcomes.
  • Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams and building cultures centred on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success driving organisational performance, improving conversion outcomes and leading complex business development, pursuit or growth functions.
  • A forward-thinking approach to the application of digital, data and AI-enabled solutions to enhance performance, competitiveness and pursuit outcomes.
