Job Description- Represent Technology strategy and services, ensuring alignment with business goals and service optimisation.
- Lead risk management across security, technical debt, and data compliance.

The Domain Operations Lead is a strategic leadership position, responsible for driving cross functional operational, portfolio, and financial performance of the domain.
You provide strategic leadership across the Domain, ensuring consistent operational, portfolio, and financial outcomes. The role assures that vendor management, service delivery, and risk and compliance are managed to the required standard and aligned with the Technology Strategy. Leveraging broad domain knowledge, you enable the effective execution of large, complex initiatives and ensure business value is realised.
This is a senior leadership role, working in close partnership with Technology Leaders, Senior Managers, Technical Product Owners, and key enterprise partners to ensure the Domain operates as a cohesive, high‑performing system.
What you will be doing
- Use market intelligence and/or insights to proactively generate, qualify and pursue new opportunities and/or improvements across a Domain or portfolio
- Provide strategic counsel on performance management, insights, and improvement to heads of technology and senior stakeholders across the group
- Collaborate with a diverse mix of stakeholders at multiple levels, both internally and externally, to determine, assess, and manage the holistic performance metrics for the domain.
- Lead with a customer centric mentality help guide, mentor and coach others to deliver outcomes in a collaborative, inclusive and innovative manner
- Drive domain operational performance, service delivery excellence, operational stability, and consistent application of standards across teams, squads, and partners
- Assure that the end to end domain portfolio meet their service levels and OKRs, are secure and resilient by design, align with the overall technology strategy
You’ll have:
- 10+ years’ technology leadership experience in a large enterprise or equivalent organisation that empowers teams to overcome complex challenges, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Strong demonstrated experience in Technology Service or Delivery Management
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills and ability to manage a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders in a complex matrix environment
- Solid expertise in financial & risk management to analyse financial, portfolio, and operational performance across the Domain and take action to optimise outcomes.
- Strong financial leadership, ensuring forecasting accuracy, financial accountability, and effective management of cross‑domain budget and capacity constraints
- Contract and vendor management experience, overseeing vendor performance and ensuring consistent standards across suppliers
- The ability to work with Senior Managers, TPOs, Procurement, and Finance to influence service delivery, manage escalations, and optimise commercial outcomes
- Experience mitigating Cyber Risk and ability to ensuring effective controls, mitigation plans, and alignment to enterprise governance frameworks.
- Strong incident management experience, as first point of escalation for major incidents and issues, coordinating resolution across required parties.
- Digital, eCommerce, Payments, Customer Care, CRM, Airlines Disruptions & Recovery domain experience may be advantageous, however, not critical.
