The EBA Specialist provides expert interpretation of Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment conditions, ensuring they are accurately translated into payroll, systems and People Services outcomes. Working closely with Industrial Relations, Payroll and HR Systems teams, you will support compliance, governance and continuous improvement while delivering practical, auditable and business-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret Enterprise Agreements, Awards and employment conditions, providing guidance on payroll and system impacts.
  • Analyse and document EBA requirements, identifying payroll, system and operational implications.
  • Support EBA build and maintenance activities, including risk identification and solution recommendations.
  • Develop interpretation guides, briefing papers, analysis and governance documentation.
  • Partner with Industrial Relations, Payroll Operations and HR Systems teams to ensure consistent application of employment instruments.
  • Review payroll processes, system requirements and controls to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support projects and change initiatives through specialist advice, impact assessments and implementation support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and governance records to support compliance and audit readiness.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience interpreting Enterprise Agreements, Awards, employment conditions or payroll legislation.
  • Strong understanding of payroll practices, including allowances, penalties, overtime, leave and classifications.
  • Ability to translate complex industrial provisions into practical operational and system requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset focused on governance, compliance and service excellence.
