This role places you at the intersection of education, finance, and technology, where your expertise directly supports schools, education systems, and public sector organisations. You operate as a trusted advisor, working closely with customers to understand their financial and operational needs and translating those requirements into well‑designed, configured solutions that improve how education organisations operate.

You contribute to meaningful, end‑to‑end implementations, guiding customers through system transition, training, and adoption. By designing and delivering high‑quality training programs, you enable customers to build internal capability, drive confident system usage, and realise long‑term value from their investment. Your work delivers tangible outcomes for education communities and strengthens the delivery of critical public services.

This opportunity offers exposure to a diverse range of customers, environments, and project types within Civica’s global delivery model. You collaborate across teams, engage with stakeholders at all levels, and develop deep consulting capability through varied and impactful work. The role supports continuous professional growth while allowing you to make a measurable difference in education finance outcomes at scale.


Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • Demonstrated experience in education finance, school financial management, billing, or accounting within an education context
  • Proven capability to act as a subject matter expert for education organisations, providing trusted advice aligned to business outcomes
  • Experience delivering system implementations, configuration, or professional services in a project‑based environment
  • Strong training design and delivery experience, including train‑the‑trainer models
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers at all organisational levels
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical guidance
  • Strong time management, prioritisation, and organisational capability across multiple customer engagements
  • Commitment to quality outcomes, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross‑functional teams
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel interstate and internationally as required
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • Business, accounting, or training‑related certification and experience
  • Experience in government, education, or professional services environments
  • Exposure to change management practices or service improvement initiatives
