The opportunity
Due to the continued growth, we are seeking a qualified Electrician with experience supervising a workforce of metering technicians (electricians) to join our Skilltech line of business. This role will require you to support the business from a technical perspective ensuring all metering / electrical queries can be responded to in a prompt manner, whilst providing a high level of service to all stakeholders. You will also be expected to perform meter installations when required.
About You
Current NSW Electrical licence & CPR/LVR
Proven experience within the metering industry, ideally in a supervisory role
Construction White Card and current first aid (preferably)
A meticulous thinker who puts safety first and takes pride in their work
Ability to work effectively as part of a team or autonomously
Well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supervising meter technicians across metro NSW
Providing technical support when required
Completing live and post audits of completed work on site or via desktop
Leading and participating in Take 5’s and Toolbox’s
Buddy training new technicians
Liaising with clients to arrange signoffs
