Let’s talk about this role

As the Employee Communications & Events Coordinator, you will support the delivery of effective communication and change initiatives to foster an informed, engaged, and high-performing workforce.

This role assists in the development of communication plans, supports change programs, and helps manage internal communication schedules and channels. In addition, the role supports in the development, delivery and co-ordination of employee events.

Specifically, you will:

  • Assist with the development and execution of impactful communications plans and campaigns that help build a well-informed and highly engaged organisation

  • Support operational communications initiatives across nib Group

  • Support nib’s employee engagement benefits and giveaways including sponsorship corporate hospitality entitlements for employees

  • Support planning and execution of employee events to enhance engagement and connection

Let’s talk about you

The ideal candidate for this position will hold qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing, with the ability to effectively craft communication plans and engage varying audiences.

You’re driven by a passion to learn and grow, eager to develop new skills and take your career to the next level.

Furthermore, we’re looking for:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet conflicting deadlines

  • Self-motivation with the ability to work unsupervised as well as a part of a team

  • Knowledge of the PHI Industry (desirable)

  • Experience in a communications or change-related role (preferred)
