Your Opportunity

In this role, you will build strong relationships with employers, participants, and the wider community to support job placements and long‑term success. You’ll engage with businesses, promote inclusive hiring practices, and support participants to overcome barriers and reach their goals.

A key part of this role is community engagement. You will actively connect with local stakeholders, community organisations, and service providers to strengthen referral pathways and generate direct registrations for the program. Your ability to represent the organisation in the community will directly contribute to participant outcomes and business growth.

You may also support multiple sites and contribute to broader program development across the region.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Build and maintain relationships with employers to create employment opportunities

  • Develop strong relationships with local stakeholders, community organisations, and service providers

  • Support participants with workplace adjustments and ongoing employment needs

  • Deliver employer engagement and business development activities

  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in the workplace

  • Generate direct registrations through proactive outreach and community presence

  • Support program delivery to achieve participant outcomes and service targets

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with program requirements

Requirements for Success

  • Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Employment Services or similar (or working towards)

  • Willingness to travel across the region as required.

  • Proven experience working with vulnerable people and/or people with disability

  • Experience supporting participants to overcome barriers to employment using a person-centred approach

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employers and stakeholders

  • Experience engaging with community organisations and local service providers

  • Ability to generate referrals and direct registrations through community engagement

  • Experience in employment services, case management or similar (desirable)

  • Sales, business development or employer engagement experience (highly regarded)

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet performance targets

  • Current driver’s licence

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
