Working alongside our international team of passionate high achievers, you’ll join a fast-growing technology business where things seldom stay the same for long. With more than 1000 smart, caring and ambitious ‘LEAPsters’ working together across Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Poland and New Zealand, you’ll find yourself in good company here.

Meet the Employment Law team

The Employment Law team is a specialist division within LEAP, focused on building software for employment lawyers. We’re a cross-functional team of legal professionals, software engineers, designers, and client-focused specialists, working closely together to deliver practical products used every day by law firms practising in employment law.

Our work is guided by in-house lawyers and informed by a well-established client feedback function, ensuring our products are shaped by real legal practice and continue to evolve in line with how lawyers actually work.

You’ll join as the Employment Law team’s new Forms Designer, helping to ensure our legal forms and precedents are always current, compliant and legally appropriate. You’ll use your experience working with legal documents to help create and maintain automated forms and precedents that make everyday work easier for employment lawyers.

What you'll do

Legislation can change regularly, along with legal forms. The efficiency we offer our clients relies on up-to-date content, with legal forms at the forefront. You’ll put your passion for Microsoft Word to work, ensuring your portfolio of legal forms and precedents is up to date with legislation, fully automated and ready for our clients to use.

You’ll receive a structured training program and ongoing guidance from the Content Manager and content specialists to help you transition into the role and build confidence using our content and automation tools. You’ll use these tools to maintain our comprehensive library of legal content, helping law firms manage matters effectively and produce legal documentation quickly and consistently.

With training and support, you will:

  • Create, update and maintain automated employment law forms and precedents.
  • Research official forms and procedural information, working with the team’s legal specialists to understand and implement required updates.
  • Format and proofread documents to maintain accuracy, consistency and professional presentation.
  • Use LEAP’s automation tools to populate documents with information recorded in legal matters.
  • Review feedback from clients and colleagues, investigate issues and contribute to improvements.
  • Learn to use JavaScript to support dynamic document content and automation, with training provided.
  • Test automated documents, including data fields, conditional content and formatting, and resolve issues with support from the team.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve employment law content and matter types.
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues across our Content teams.
