So, with that in mind, we are looking for a new Engineering Manager to join our team of go-getters and realise the full value of their skills!

What you'll do:

• Lead a team of engineers across Australia and Vietnam responsible for the Oneflare product

• Working closely with our Engineering leadership team, contribute to the technical strategy and delivery across web, iOS and Android

• Be a commercial leader of the Oneflare business, closely working with our General Manager for Oneflare and other function leads

• Be a key cross-functional partner to product, design and data

• Maintain accountability for the operational state of our systems

• Lead key projects and sprints, playing a core role in our long-lived product teams that navigate our Engineering roadmap into the future

• Drive a high performance and growth culture, ensuring technical excellence throughout delivery of team OKRs

• Be a strong advocate for the customer journey across our product, and effectively prioritise workloads within your team to drive commercial performance for Oneflare and Airtasker

What it takes to be successful in the role:

• Take pleasure in leading people, empowering them to do great work and grow their capabilities

• Commercially astute leader that is able to prioritise work based on customer and business impact

• Closely collaborate with Product, Data and Design leaders in your cross functional team and across the business

• An agnostic, hands on approach to software engineering with a serious passion for teaching your team new and emerging technologies

• Being firmly grounded in computer science and engineering fundamentals

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience
