Job Description

We are seeking skilled, compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Enrolled Nurses to join our team and provide high-quality psychiatric and emotional support to patients experiencing mental health challenges. Permanent part-time and full-time opportunities available covering night duty shifts.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while promoting safety, dignity, recovery, and overall wellbeing. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about delivering person-centred mental health care within a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health disorders.
  • Monitor and assess patients' mental and physical health status.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Support patients through therapeutic engagement and recovery-focused interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and respond appropriately to clinical risks or incidents.

Essential Criteria

  • Current AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse 
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing or a strong interest in mental health care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Sound clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, recovery-oriented care
  • Must have availability to work night shifts across all seven days of the week, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
