The Opportunity: Enterprise Account Executive

We are looking for a high-performing, self-motivated Account Executive with a passion for cybersecurity and helping organisations protect against evolving identity threats.

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Okta, you will work closely with C-suite decision-makers to demonstrate how our platform drives secure, seamless access across their workforce. Your focus will be on both new business acquisition and expansion within our existing customer base.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Define and execute a clear territory plan with long-term strategic goals and growth targets.
  • Lead a cross-functional virtual team, including Partners, Solution Engineers, Customer Success, Renewals, Services, and Business Development.
  • Drive consistent pipeline generation and revenue growth, meeting or exceeding quarterly targets.
  • Build strong, strategic relationships with customers earning trusted advisor status.
  • Champion Okta’s value through executive-level presentations, tailored demonstrations, and strategic engagements.
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader in identity, security, and cloud transformation.
  • Represent and embody Okta’s core values: Love Our Customers, Always Secure, Always On, Build and Own It, and Drive What’s Next.
  • Travel as needed to engage customers and key stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of field sales experience, consistently exceeding targets in complex sales environments.
  • A proven track record of selling enterprise SaaS solutions to Enterprise organisations.
  • Experience working with GSIs and partner channels to drive aligned customer success.
  • Strong new business development skills, with deep account planning and execution capabilities.
  • A curious, adaptable mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with solution selling and frameworks like MEDDPICC is preferred.
  • Sydney-based.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
