We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimating Manager with expertise in either Mechanical/Electrical/Civil disciplines to lead our estimating efforts and support the successful delivery of major water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of cost estimates and coordinate proposals for major water infrastructure projects.

• Provide detailed quantity take-offs and ensure accurate forecasting of project costs.

• Manage multiple bids and act as the primary liaison between the estimating team and senior leadership.

• Evaluate and refine estimates based on project requirements and client feedback.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as the lead contact for proposals.

• Ensure all bid formats and submissions comply with client and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to gather pricing on labor, materials, and other project costs.

• Participate in pre- and post-bid meetings as required.

• Maintain historical cost data and track project estimations using internal systems.

• Support project teams in transitioning awarded tenders into successful project execution.

• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior estimators.

Planning & Quality Control:

• Develop and maintain company-wide estimating standards and best practices disciplines.

• Ensure estimating resources, tools, and methodologies align with project needs and industry standards.

• Collaborate with the quality management team to uphold high-quality estimating processes and compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and cost estimation systems, with a focus on water infrastructure projects.

• Proven ability to manage and deliver accurate cost estimates for large-scale water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, desalination plants, pipelines, and pump stations.

• Experience working with estimating software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

• At least 10 years of experience in estimating for major water infrastructure projects, particularly in the tunnelling, utilities, or water treatment sectors.
