Your role
 

At Allens, our business teams are specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.

You'll be a part of our National Events and Networks team based in Sydney, you'll be responsible for a range of client facing events including our national webinar program, thought leadership series, client relationship events, corporate hospitality and cultural sponsorships.
 

As an Events & Networks Executive, you will:

  • Deliver all aspects of the Sydney-based events program and help to lead national event initiatives.
  • Execute all aspects of event management from the initial inception and scoping, through to delivery, including objective setting, measuring return on investment and post-event evaluation.
  • Lead national webinars, aligning to firm objectives and our marketing campaigns.
  • Seek opportunities to entertain clients through unique and premium experiences and apply a targeted approach to client selection.
  • Manage administrative and database aspects related to events, including proficient use of the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and web systems.
  • Leverage the CRM system and draw on knowledge about the firm's client base to develop recommendations on how and where to target events campaigns.
  • Support Business Development and Marketing specialists to leverage events to create client engagement opportunities.
  • Manage and engage with key stakeholders
  • Manage a budget and liaise with external suppliers and venues.
  • Provide a high-level of on-site support during events.
  • Take event briefs and apply creative thinking.
     

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.
 

About you
 

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end high profile client events in a corporate setting.
  • Corporate events experience supporting a team and running events autonomously
  • Exceptional client management skills and a positive client service approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional composure.
  • A flexible, hands-on approach to work with experience in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within and across teams and offices.
  • Superior work ethic and strong time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the legal or professional services industry would be advantageous
  • Tertiary qualifications in event management, business or marketing are desirable.
  • A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others
