About the role

This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role, as the EA to the Executive General Manager, Mid-Market, you'll be the operating engine behind the business. Partnering closely with the EGM and leadership team, you'll help keep the business running at pace, driving alignment, accountability and execution across the division.

From managing leadership rhythms and business priorities to planning engagement initiatives and introducing AI-powered ways of working, you'll play a key role in how the business operates. While calendar, inbox and travel management remain part of the role, you'll spend most of your time orchestrating business operations, improving processes and enabling leaders to focus on customers, people and strategy.

What you’ll do
  • Own and coordinate the operating rhythm of the Mid-Market business, including leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles and strategic priorities
  • Track decisions, actions and commitments, ensuring accountability and follow-through across the leadership team
  • Partner with People Experience and Operations to support compliance, performance cycles, engagement initiatives and onboarding activities
  • Plan and deliver team engagement activities including all-hands meetings, community events, volunteering days and in-office experiences
  • Build and optimise AI-enabled workflows and automations that improve meeting preparation, reporting, action tracking and business coordination
  • Provide high-quality executive support including calendar, inbox, travel and expense management for the EGM
  • Prepare executive communications, presentations, briefings and reporting materials that help leaders make informed decisions
What you’ll bring
  • Experience supporting senior executives in a complex, fast-paced environment, ideally in roles with broad operational ownership
  • Demonstrated experience running business rhythms, governance processes, leadership forums or strategic projects, not just coordinating them
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes to completion
  • Experience planning and delivering engagement initiatives, events or programs that bring teams together and create meaningful employee experiences
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Claude or similar to improve the way work gets done
  • Confidence influencing stakeholders, following up on commitments and constructively challenging senior leaders when required
  • High levels of judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive commercial and people information
