Lead engineering for MYOB’s customer-facing agentic AI products from discovery through production. Set technical direction, architecture, evaluation standards, and responsible AI practices while balancing quality, latency, reliability, safety, and cost. Lead multidisciplinary teams across AI engineering, data science, and software engineering; develop senior technical leaders; and partner with Product, Design, Security, Architecture, and external AI providers to deliver scalable AI experiences.

Own the product roadmap and backlog, lead customer discovery, prioritize problems and solutions, and partner with engineering and design through delivery. Measure post-launch outcomes, balance customer and commercial needs, navigate technical complexity, and align stakeholders across commercial, partnerships, operations, and compliance. The role also involves using AI tools to accelerate discovery, analysis, documentation, and decision-making.

Build and evolve payer-facing experiences supporting online invoicing, payment processing, and money movement workflows. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver secure, reliable customer experiences. Contribute to DevOps improvements, Agile delivery, technical vision, knowledge sharing, and high-quality software development using modern programming languages, cloud platforms, containers, and CI/CD tools.

Build full-stack customer onboarding and verification solutions for MYOB’s payment products. Develop KYC, KYB, risk assessment, approval, and operational review workflows; integrate activation, invoicing, and payment services; and contribute to the Azure migration. Improve engineering quality through automated testing, TDD, and CI/CD while supporting technical direction, mentoring, pairing, and code reviews. The role requires collaboration across engineering, product, and operations teams and includes exploring AI-assisted development practices.

Build and maintain secure, scalable API platform capabilities, cloud-native services, integrations, and developer tooling. Drive DevOps automation, CI/CD, infrastructure improvements, platform reliability, monitoring, and performance. Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and cross-functional teams while supporting production services through an on-call roster. Contribute to AI gateway services, internal developer platforms, governance, and self-service capabilities.

Supports the Executive General Manager and leadership team by managing complex calendars, inboxes, travel, meetings, briefs, presentations, communications, and follow-ups. The role requires anticipating priorities, coordinating leadership activities, tracking decisions and deadlines, building stakeholder relationships, handling sensitive information, and using Microsoft 365 and AI tools to improve executive-office productivity.
