The opportunity
As the Executive Assistant to the Group Head of Financial Risk Management, you will provide proactive management and counsel to support the leader both short-term and long-term.
We are seeking a highly organised and resilient Executive Assistant who desires to build a long-term career with QBE.
Key accountabilities include managing deliverables, inputs, and timelines, coordinating with team and stakeholders, and handling reporting, diary, and travel requirements. This role offers the chance to partner with fast-paced and agile leaders and take on broader opportunities to support them and the team.
You will work closely with the Risk leadership team, their respective EAs, and global stakeholders, providing executive coordination while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Key responsibilities will include:

Forecasting deliverables and meeting commitments, ensuring leaders are equipped to deliver.

Collaborating with team members on various tasks and projects, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.

Assisting in the development and implementation of team initiatives and process improvements.

Coordinating correspondence, presentations and reports for the Senior Management team.

Optimising business appointments and travel arrangements for Senior Executives.

Managing a wide range of contacts at all levels, from within and outside the organization.

Management of cost centre budgets and financial team requirements including invoicing.

Serving as the point of contact for process guidance, team member inductions, and onboarding.
