What you will be doing
As part of DXC’s Executive Support Team, you will provide support to optimize efficiency and effectiveness for three Senior leaders.
You will have a proven ability to perform as an administrator and ready to hit the ground running. This is your role to shine, if you are tenacious and looking for your next challenge in a multinational. The role is varied, busy and liaises closely with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
To succeed, you are an energetic, positive, self-motivated team player, with strong written and verbal interpersonal skills. A demonstrated, successful track record in a similar role and experience working in a fast-paced environment is required. You need to be highly organised, flexible, self reliant and have excellent prioritisation skills.
Essentially, you are an EA who can bring a “can do” attitude, have a sense of community and is willing to drive outcomes to benefit the team.
This role will:
DXC is a fast-paced and performance driven environment, with responsibilities and priorities which change daily. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Highest level of confidentiality and discretion with regard to DXC company and employee information.
- Regular liaison with internal and external stakeholders to schedule meetings, provide direction and assist to resolve issues.
- Efficient diary management, ensuring often complex schedules make efficient use of time. You will also compile meeting agendas and presentations, reserve rooms, manage technology and coordination of meeting actions.
- Coordinate often complex travel arrangements whilst adhering to DXC’s Travel Expense and Reimbursement Policy.
- Prepare expense reports in Concur Expense Management System in a timely manner
- Act on behalf of your managers to review and approve travel and entertainment requests
- Perform specialised administrative duties appropriate to the business unit, this may include assisting with on-boarding & off-boarding employees, coaching around business processes & procedures, drafting correspondence, managing meetings and managing databases.
- Provide general guidance and assistance to team members as appropriate.
- Support, participate and contribute to the Executive Support Team activities, including workstreams and team meetings.
- Other adhoc tasks as required.
The skills you will bring
To be successful in this role you should have:
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role (eg. Team Assistant, Office Administration Manager, Office Manager, Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience supporting multiple managers.
- Experience arranging international travel including visas, transfers
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a passion for getting things done.
- Ability to independently plan and prioritise multiple and competing demands.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
