Executive ‐ Industrial Engineering

Embark on a journey of change with MAS, by joining Silueta as an Executive ‐ Industrial Engineering based at Biyagama to effectively conduct IE projects, ensuring identification of the most effective work methods, setting of accurate standard times for operations, and co-ordinate with internal parties, in order to facilitate the achievement of required plant efficiency level whilst continuously improving the operational standards with optimum resource usage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Liaise with the PDC (Product Development Center) department during the sample development process, confirm customer pricing targets, identify new technology requirements, re-engineer of bra cups, CCP (Close Comfort Program), Impact protection which suits the production in order to facilitate the manufacturing process.
Co-ordinate the pre-production process, the pilot-production run for new styles and provide advice, guidance in terms of technical and work methods in order to ensure a smooth flow of production in the bulk run.
Ensure that all style analyses are carried out and verified and obtained all relevant information on the styles including operation sequence, methods, standard minute values, machine, attachment requirements in order to facilitate the production process.
Prepare layouts, operational break downs and ensure the installation the most effective work methods, provide basics of understanding of work-measurement, re-engineering of workplace, work methods, verify the validity of the standard minute values and take appropriate corrective actions including communicating with the relevant personnel in order to achieve required performance levels.
Ensure implementation of motivational activities such as of incentive, prizing schemes, special trips etc. in order to maintain continuous improvement and thereby maintain positive work relationships.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- BSc. Engineering Degree or National Diploma in Technology with 1 year experience in similar capacity
- Or General Certificate in Education – Advanced Level & Diploma in Institute of Management Services with 3 years' work experience in executive capacity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
