Job Description
About Role:
As an Exercise Physiologist at Mt Wilga Private Hospital, you will be responsible for the assessment of patients, prescription of exercises and supervising patient exercise programs.
This role will see you working across our Inpatient, Day Program, Outpatient and NDIS service streams with a wide range of patients including orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, oncology, chronic pain and reconditioning. You will deliver therapy in individualised, group and hydrotherapy settings and work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

About You
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Exercise Physiology (or equivalent)
- Current Accreditation with ESSA
- Registration with SIRA (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working as an Exercise Physiologist
- Current NDIS Workers Check
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High standard of customer service and a team approach
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practice
- Understanding of quality improvement principles
- Flexible, positive approach to work
- Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting (desirable)
- Available to work in school holidays (desirable)
