The full-time Brand Manager is responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns & tactics, using deep consumer insights to drive brand growth and give wings to consumers & customers. This role focuses on developing and delivering innovative programs that reach new audiences and result in strong commercial growth and customer loyalty. As a key contributor our annual planning, the Brand Manager must possess a "Consumer, Trade & Brand" mindset, effectively aligning broader business priorities with localised plans. Success in this role requires a leader who can influence internal and external stakeholders to gain buy-in and collaborate across functions to bring complex strategies to life. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with rigorous project management and executional skills, ensuring all initiatives are delivered to a premium standard within defined timelines, budget, and scope.

Job Description

GENERAL BRAND MANAGEMENT

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Brand, Regional teams, and International HQ to align strategies, share insights, and scale global learnings locally, to Give Wings to consumers.
  • Ensuring the brand is always premium, functional and credible is just what you do. Ensuring total consistency and the effective communication of best practices across the business. Play a lead role in developing and implementing the annual business plan, ensuring alignment of the Global brand direction with Red Bull Australia’s local objectives.
  • Identify and manage high-value business partnerships that deliver mutual value and authentic brand integration.
  • Partner with & coach internal teams on how to approach & solve key challenges and opportunities with the brand, including pitching ideas to customers and global stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate exceptional budget management by overseeing significant marketing spend with precision, ensuring optimal ROI and disciplined allocation across all projects.

CUSTOMER MARKETING & SALES COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with our On & Off Premise account team to understand their key challenges and opportunities, provide strategic recommendations for brand-led tactics that align our business priorities with the unique business needs of key customers across Grocery, Petrol & Convenience, On-Premise, and emerging channels.
  • Partner with Trade Marketing to high-impact retail marketing activity that leads the category, stops shoppers & makes big impact for the brand.
  • Act as a catalyst for ideas between Marketing and Sales, proactively challenging how we do things whilst keeping the brand top of mind to drive growth and differentiate vs our competition.
  • Be adaptable in your communication of ideas, to be able to support the sales team to sell ideas to our customers by speaking their language and their business priorities.

BRAND CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION

  • Identify and leverage key consumer and market insights to develop category-leading, creative campaign concepts that deliver premium consumer experiences and commercial outcomes.
  • Work with the right external partners, both locally and globally, to strengthen our brand in market through premium execution and credible brand integration. Partner with Trade Marketing and Sales to synthesise retail and consumer needs, ensuring these insights directly shape annual brand strategies and campaign activation.
  • Lead effective and accurate 360 campaign management, maintaining a premium brand experience across all touchpoints by holding others accountable and continuing to challenge thinking to create more impact.
  • Unlock the power of our epic global campaigns & partnership opportunities, leveraging the full power of the global tool kit in market, whilst unlocking local integration and optimisation through a 360 team. Unlock the power of our global network & HQ to take on learnings & best practices from other markets to apply locally.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the end-to-end management of projects, ensuring seamless delivery from initial concept through to market execution, doing it the Red Bull way.
  • Direct creative and media agencies through the briefing, feedback, and execution phases to ensure high-quality output and brand alignment.
  • Lead effective and accurate campaign management, maintaining high standards of delivery across all brand touchpoints. Analyse and report on campaign and media performance with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in creative ROI and strategic effectiveness.

Qualifications

 

  • Tertiary educated, ideally in Marketing, Business or Events
  • Roughly 5 - 10 years of relevant Marketing and Brand Management experience, previously working at a Brand Manager level (a background in beverages is strongly preferred)
  • Strong leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and has exceptional project management skills. Experienced in leading the implementation of process/structure to optimise output
  • Creative thinker and innovator, having led a program from ideation to execution
  • Expert communication and presentation skills, able to influence a room, and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Proven Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills are needed
