THE OPPORTUNITY

The purpose of this role is to pro-actively finalise workers compensation claims and manage a portfolio of non-significant workers compensation claims in accordance with EML’s guidelines, policies and procedures.

This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Sydney office with opportunity to work from home up to 3 days considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviewing and analysing each claim in your portfolio and making appropriate claims management decisions in accordance with EML policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Developing, monitoring and updating Claims Management Plans (CMPs) to achieve positive Return To Work (RTW) goals
  • Forecasting, developing and implementing strategies to overcome potential barriers in order to ensure a timely and durable RTW for the injured worker
  • Developing a working understanding of the relevant legislation or policy

ABOUT YOU

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • You will come from an administration, office or customer service background
  • Ability to accurately use multiple software in a high volume and fast paced environment
  • Effectively manage your time in order to achieve deadlines within required timeframes
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
