Job Description

  • Bring your passion and feel the energy
  • Hybrid working - we value our people
  • Sydney or Melbourne location

We are seeking a highly commercial Finance Business Partner – Corporate Performance to join the Corporate Finance team, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager – Corporate & Investor Relations. This role is a key position that supports both Corporate FP&A and Investor Relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial outcomes, providing strategic financial advisory, and shaping market communication. This is a high-exposure role, offering direct influence over executive decision-making and the creation of market-facing deliverables.

Sound good? Read on.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

Corporate FP&A & Executive Partnering

  • Deliver actionable commercial insights, advanced variance analysis, and executive-level performance narratives that drive business optimisation and shape corporate initiatives.
  • Lead competitor analysis, providing deep-dive evaluations of peer market results to deliver strategic market context and actionable intelligence to the ELT.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior finance and business stakeholders, providing robust decision support, challenging commercial assumptions, and directly influencing executive decision-making.
  • Collaborate proactively with Group FP&A, Investor Relations, and Strategy teams to embed commercial insights and ensure cross-functional alignment across all executive reporting.
  • Oversee the integrity of financial data and champion automation and process improvement initiatives to elevate efficiency, data quality, and the overall finance operating model.

Investor Relations & Market Communication Support

  • Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to develop external materials, ensuring commercial alignment and accuracy for earnings releases, trading updates, and investor presentations.
  • Own and optimise the internal consensus model, proactively analysing broker estimates, monitoring market expectations, and providing strategic context on variances.
  • Drive Q&A briefing support by synthesising complex financial analysis and performance context into clear, compelling narratives for analyst and investor market releases.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong working relationships with Finance peers, Corporate functions leaders and the cost centre owners.
  • Champion consistent financial messaging and a high standard of reporting across executive and external materials.
  • Operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, confidently advising and constructively challenging senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you:

  • 5-8 years’ experience in commercial finance, Finance Business Partnering, CFO advisory, or senior FP&A roles.
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial analysis, leading budgeting/forecasting cycles, and driving performance improvements.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing senior, non-finance stakeholders and delivering strategic outcomes under tight timelines.
  • Exposure to executive level or market facing materials is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with ERP and EPM tools (SAP, TM1, OneStream or similar) is desirable.

The benefits are good too!

  • We offer hybrid ways of working
  • An exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphy’s, Woolworths, BIG W and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubs
  • Your health and wellbeing is your most important asset, and as one of our valued team members, it’s our first priority. You will have a range of free services to help you live well and support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing
  • Endeavour Group is full of opportunities - use our dedicated learning and development options to grow an idea, yourself, and your career. This is just the start, so dream big.

At Endeavour, we value being a workplace where everyone’s welcome - if you meet a number of the requirements (and not all), we encourage you to apply.
