About the Role

Join our Finance team as a Finance Business Partner and play a key role in driving financial performance across a dynamic and growing professional services organisation. This is an opportunity to move beyond the numbers and become a trusted advisor, partnering with business leaders to provide insightful analysis, meaningful reporting, and strategic financial guidance.

Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll help shape business decisions through robust financial planning, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven insights. You'll identify opportunities for improvement, enhance reporting frameworks, and contribute to the ongoing development of our business partnering capability.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and analyse management accounts, delivering actionable insights to improve financial performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand priorities and provide financial guidance and support.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, including monitoring performance and conducting variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Enhance reporting capabilities by developing meaningful and timely financial reporting frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, analysis, and financial processes.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships through proactive engagement and collaboration.
  • Work closely with Finance leadership to strengthen and evolve the Finance Business Partnering function.
     

About You

You're a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing outcomes through data and insight. You thrive in a collaborative environment, are naturally curious, and have a passion for helping businesses make informed decisions.

You'll bring a combination of technical expertise, business partnering experience, and strong stakeholder management skills, allowing you to confidently engage with leaders across all levels of the organisation.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CA, CPA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least five years' experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a similar business partnering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex information into practical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including experience with Power Query.
  • Experience with Power BI, or a genuine interest in developing your reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Professional services experience will be highly regarded.
