The role:
Join our Work Dynamics team as a Finance Manager and drive the successful delivery of financial services to a key strategic client. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, bright and enthusiastic professional to leverage their experience in reporting and business processes while contributing to superior client service delivery.
This role is required in either Sydney or Melbourne CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end close processes - Coordinate reporting, perform detailed MTD/YTD performance analysis against targets, and present results to internal and client stakeholders
- Manage annual budgets and periodic forecasting - Lead the budget process for client spend, develop assumptions with stakeholders aligned to client strategy, and obtain stakeholder signoff
- Provide strategic business partnering - Work with delivery leads to achieve budget/forecast targets, identify portfolio risks and opportunities, and deliver strategic performance insights
- Lead finance operations oversight - Manage offshore finance service centre, ensure AP/AR/GL function integrity, and maintain JLL standard processes and data quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives - Identify and implement process enhancements and control improvements across finance operations
- Build strong stakeholder relationships - Engage with client and account stakeholders, handle financial queries, and maintain productive partnerships with client financial teams
- Deliver financial analysis and reporting - Analyze trends, flag issues, propose corrective solutions, and communicate financial insights to various stakeholders
- Ensure compliance and quality standards - Maintain adherence to legislative requirements, contractual obligations, and internal controls while supporting overall service delivery excellence
Key Skills and Requirement
- Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline
- Achievement or near completion of CPA / CA qualification will be highly regarded
- 5+ years of experience in a complex commercial environment
- Previous experience in the property industry and FM scope contracts will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationship and manage client representatives and stakeholders.
- Advanced financial analytical and reporting skills
- Good planning and organisational skills to prioritise work and manage multiple complex deliverables
