The opportunity
This is a 12-month maximum-term contract for someone who can look at finance systems, processes and data and see not just what they are — but what they could be.
As Finance Transformation Manager, you’ll lead a major transformation program across Finance and the business. The goal is simple (but not easy): use automation, AI and smarter processes to radically lift efficiency, insight and capability across the finance function.
Overview of the Role
- This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology and change.
- You’ll lead a portfolio of transformation initiatives — spanning accounting, procurement, reporting, planning and forecasting — and bring them to life through strong program leadership, clear thinking and genuine collaboration.
- You’ll work closely with Finance, Treasury, IT, Business Unit leaders and external partners to modernise how finance operates, how data is used, and how decisions get made.
- This is a hands-on Change Leadership role. Strategy matters. Delivery matters more.
What You Will be Doing
- You’ll be trusted with work that truly makes a difference.
- Leading end-to-end finance transformation initiatives across systems, processes and ways of working
- Driving automation and AI use across the finance function, particularly within D365, reporting and planning tools
- Moving the accounting function toward a continuous close and planning teams toward continuous forecasting
- Redesigning procurement, accounts payable, receivables and credit processes to improve experience and efficiency
- Building smarter, self-service reporting and insights using Power BI, Fabric and modern data tools
- Managing vendors, partners and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver outcomes on time and on budget
- Translating complex technical solutions into clear, practical change that sticks
What you will bring
- Strong technical finance foundations (CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent) with deep systems knowledge
- Proven experience leading finance transformation, ERP, automation or AI-enabled initiatives
- Confidence working across finance, technology and business teams — and bringing them with you
- A structured, analytical approach with the ability to simplify complexity
- Strong project and change management capability, including vendor coordination
- Clear communication skills — especially when explaining technical ideas to non-technical audiences
- Curiosity, resilience and a genuine appetite for improving how things work
Ready to do work that actually changes things? This is your chance to leave finance better than you found it — smarter, faster and fit for what’s next.
If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
