What we’re about

At Harrison.ai, we’re redefining what’s possible in healthcare. Through our diagnostic AI solutions, we’re building tools that support clinicians to deliver earlier, more accurate diagnoses and raise the standard of care for millions of patients worldwide.

Our mission is bold but simple: to scale global healthcare capacity and create a fairer, healthier world. By using AI as a co-pilot for clinicians, we’re tackling one of healthcare’s biggest challenges, the shortage of human expertise, and giving every patient the chance to access timely, high-quality care, no matter where they live.

Because while we’re building cutting-edge AI, what we’re really building is hope—that everyone can access the healthcare they deserve.

And we’re just getting started.

About Your Role

You'll join a small finance and tax team, assisting with the month-end reconciliation cycle across multiple entities and currencies, while partially supporting our tax function with BAS, GST and ad hoc compliance work. It's a hands-on role with real exposure to multi-jurisdiction tax, ideal for someone who wants to build a career across both accounting and tax.

What You Do:
  • Month-End Reconciliations & Financial Close. Execute Full-Cycle Reconciliations: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations—including bank, AR, AP, accruals, prepayments, GST, and intercompany accounts—strictly adhering to the month-end close calendar. Identify, investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely closure of outstanding issues.

  • Journal Entries & Variance Analysis: Post accurate general ledger journals backed by thorough working papers; proactively investigate, document, and clear reconciling items.

  • Audit & Compliance Support: Assist with external audits, mid-year reviews, and statutory compliance requests by providing timely, well-documented schedules.

  • Expense Management & Policy Enforcement. Claims & Card Processing: Review and process employee expense claims and corporate card transactions against company policy, effectively identifying and resolving non-compliant submissions.

  • Card Reconciliation & Documentation: Reconcile monthly corporate card statements while ensuring all GST and receipt documentation meets compliance standards.

  • System administration: Responsible for day-to-day expense management system administration, including user setup, account deactivation, permission management, and general user support

  • Process Optimisation: Identify recurring expense policy exceptions and recommend workflow or policy improvements to streamline future processing.

  • Support of Tax Function. BAS & GST: Assist in preparing quarterly BAS workpapers, including GST reconciliations from the GL to the BAS labels.

  • Tax Journals: Assist with coding of Tax related journals.

  • Ad hoc tax deliverables: Prepare supporting schedules and data extracts for tax returns, provisions, advisor queries and ATO requests if and as needed.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting

  • 1–3 years in a finance-operations role, ideally in a multi-entity or multi-currency environment

  • Working knowledge of a mid-market ERP/accounting system and strong Excel/Sheets (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)

  • High attention to detail

Nice to have skills and characteristics:

  • CA or CPA part-qualified

  • Exposure to SaaS

  • Experience with a cloud ERP/accounting system

  • Healthcare, medical device or regulated-industry experience
