What you’ll do
In your new role, as a Financial Analyst in the iCIRT Operations team, your key focus will be to use your business analysis, financial analysis, and data management skills to collect and analyse business, operational and financial information to prepare evidence-based assessment reports for our customers. 

You will utilise your financial literacy and numeracy skills, as well as your ability to analyse entities operating in the building and construction industry to undertake an independent review identifying higher risk or low-trust characteristics to arrive at an assessment outcome within iCIRT’s risk framework. Using your strong stakeholder management skills, you will build rapport with external senior stakeholders to obtain key information as per the report requirements and assessment scope. You will conduct meetings to gain a clear and thorough understanding of the entity's governance structure, operating systems, processes and practices and to discuss the rating outcome, together with the primary factors that contributed to the assessment. You can demonstrate your time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills, and the ability to meet deadlines and performance targets.

In addition, you will keep abreast of industry developments to ensure you are familiar with the business drivers, dynamics, macro-economic environment and challenges across a range of markets.

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years experience in a similar role with Bachelor degree in accounting, business, finance or relevant field

  • Proven ability to analyse financial statements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage various stakeholder engagements

  • Advanced financial numeracy & literacy

  • Ability to apply advanced critical thinking to data and business processes 

  • Inquisitive mindset, with an ability to think beyond the ratios and apply knowledge in a holistic way 

  • Ability to multi-task & manage work priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability and willingness to take ownership of deliverables and service level

  • Seeks continuous improvement of self and business process

What could set you apart?

  • Professional qualifications or progression towards obtaining CA, CPA or CFA

  • Corporate experience in financial services & banking domain
