THE ROLE

As the Financial Controller (Senior Manager, Financial Control), you’ll be responsible for ensuring the Financial Control team, systems and processes for financial accounting, AP, AR, payroll, treasury and tax are optimised 

to enhance financial visibility, operational effeciency and strategic decision-making. 


You’ll have the opportunity to review current capabilities, assess requirements for future needs and implement the necessary changes. We’re looking for a hands-on candidate who enjoys leveraging automation and building a best in breed finance capability within a high growth environment. 
We are looking for somone full time - but open to 4 day part time arrangement for the right candidate.

DAY TO DAY

  • You will manage the entire month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements.
  • You'll be the point person for all tax-related matters, working with external advisors to ensure we meet all our obligations.
  • You will coordinate and manage both internal and external audits, serving as the main point of contact for auditors.
  • You'll oversee all aspects of equity management, including stock option plans and shareholder reporting.
  • You'll mentor and manage a team of three finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA) is essential.
  • You have a proven track record in a senior financial accounting role, ideally within the tech industry.
  • You have experience leading a team and a passion for mentoring others.
  • You are a self-starter with a broad range of experience across financial reporting, tax, treasury and audit.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Netsuite is an asset but not essential.
