The role

As an FP&A Analyst at Prospa, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and decision-making across various departments within the organisation. You will collaborate closely with department heads, providing valuable financial insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to support business growth and profitability.

What you'll be doing
  • Conduct financial analysis to assess departmental performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, board presentations, and investor reporting.
  • Provide variance analysis with actionable insights to enhance financial performance.
  • Partner with departmental leaders to develop annual budgets and long-term forecasts and monitor execution with guidance on cost control and resource allocation.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to department heads, offering financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Work cross-functionally with senior management and operational teams to deliver financial advice and support for key projects, investments, and business cases.
  • Monitor commercial performance and apply financial acumen to strengthen stakeholder engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Proven experience in working with department leaders or similar role.
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial software, including ERP systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Previous experience using Anaplan is desirable.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
