Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will lead a team of five Senior Financial Analysts and Financial Analysts. You will be responsible for developing the team, lifting capability, improving processes and ensuring the business has high-quality reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling to support strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

  • Lead the preparation of financial plans, budgets and forecasts for the Commercial business unit, supporting broader corporate planning and forecasting requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality reporting, variance analysis and actionable insights that help identify performance drivers, risks, opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Build and enhance complex financial models, including EBITDA driver-based models, scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis to support planning, valuation and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead business casing and financial analysis for major commercial initiatives, including third-party agreements, new product launches and other strategic opportunities.
  • Drive process improvement, automation and the use of tools such as Power BI to streamline financial analysis, reporting and forecasting processes.
  • Coach, develop and lead a team of five analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, continuous improvement and strong stakeholder service.

About you

  • Experienced finance leader with strong FP&A experience across reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business performance.
  • Proven people leadership experience and are confident managing, coaching and developing a team in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
  • Strong business casing experience and can translate complex financial analysis into clear commercial recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Capable in complex financial modelling, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis and working with large or varied data sources.
  • Proactive self-starter who is comfortable working with ambiguity, moving at pace and partnering with stakeholders across a complex business.
  • Confident using financial systems and tools, with experience in Excel, ERP systems, reporting tools and ideally Power BI or similar automation capability.
