Profile Requirements:
- Min 2.5 year proven experience in a similar role and function.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages:
- Java / Kotlin
- Python
- TypeScript (Node.js)
- Experience with:
- REST APIs / GraphQL
- Database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or similar)
- Experience of frontend/mobile integration:
- iOS (Swift / Objective-C)
- Android (Kotlin / Java)
- Familiarity with: HTML, CSS, SCSS (for full-stack collaboration where needed)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong understanding of version control (Git)
- use of AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, Emergent and/or others
Core responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers
- Build and manage RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces and UI components
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes (CI/CD, deployments, monitoring)
- Collaborate with product, design, and mobile teams to ensure seamless integration
- Work with databases (SQL / NoSQL), including schema design and data modelling
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and external platforms
- Optimise system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement secure authentication, authorisation, and data protection practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments
- Contribute to system architecture, technical strategy, and best practices
