Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant with expertise in Sales Commissions and Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design commission processes, configure solutions, and support implementation and optimisation initiatives across modern commissions platforms.

Experience with one or more leading commissions platforms—including CaptivateIQ, Performio, SAP Callidus, Salesforce Spiff, or Everstage — is required.

  • Lead discovery workshops with Sales, Finance, Revenue Operations, HR, and Compensation stakeholders.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements for commission and incentive compensation programs.
  • Translate compensation plans into scalable functional solution designs.
  • Configure and maintain commission plans, rules, quotas, territories, accelerators, bonuses, draws, and incentive calculations.
  • Design commission workflows, approval processes, and payout cycles.
  • Support data mapping and integration requirements with CRM, ERP, HRIS, and payroll systems.
  • Work alongside technical consultants and integration teams during implementation.
  • Perform solution testing, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot commission calculation issues and investigate data discrepancies.
  • Produce functional specifications, configuration documentation, process flows, and user guides.
  • Deliver end-user training and support business adoption.
  • Recommend process improvements and best practices for incentive compensation governance and administration.
  • Provide post-go-live support and continuous optimisation.

Qualifications

  • Experience with one or more of: CaptivateIQ, Performio, SAP Callidus, Salesforce Spiff, or Everstage.
  • Strong understanding of sales commissions and incentive compensation.
  • Experience with business analysis, functional design, and solution configuration.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, or payroll integrations is desirable.
