Job summary:We are seeking an experienced Order Management System (OMS) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in OMS to support global retail and eCommerce clients within an offshore delivery model. This role bridges business requirements and technical execution across the end-to-end order lifecycle. The consultant will work closely with onshore stakeholders, product teams, and engineering to design, configure, and optimize OMS solutions leveraging Infios capabilities.
What a day in the life looks like:
·Business & Functional Leadership- Gather and document business requirements across order lifecycle processes
- Translate requirements into functional specifications and user stories specific to Infios OMS capabilities
- Facilitate workshops with global stakeholders (onshore/offshore)
- Act as a subject matter expert in Infios OMS best practices
- Configure order orchestration, sourcing, and fulfillment logic within Infios OMS.
- Define inventory visibility, allocation, and ATP/CTP strategies.
- Design order lifecycle states, statuses, and exception handling.
- Leverage Infios OMS rules engine and configuration framework
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations with eCommerce, ERP, WMS, and payment systems.
- Understand and support Infios OMS APIs, events, and messaging patterns.
- Validate end-to-end order flows across distributed systems
- Define and execute UAT scenarios aligned to Infios OMS implementations
Support SIT/UAT cycles, defect triage, and resolution. - Assist with release planning, deployment readiness, and hypercare support
- Work within a global delivery model supporting US/EMEA clients.
- Participate in required time-zone overlap for workshops and issue resolution.
- Provide clear documentation, knowledge transfer, and handoffs
- Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery aligned to Infios standards
What you bring to the team:
- 5+ years experience in OMS, with hands-on experience in Infios (Körber) OMS
- Strong understanding of omnichannel fulfillment (BOPIS, BOSS, ship-from-store)
- Experience configuring sourcing, routing, and inventory rules in Infios OMS.
- Strong communication skills in global team environments.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Experience in retail, eCommerce, or direct-to-consumer environments
- Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture
- Exposure to AWS or cloud-native deployments
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps
- Prior experience working in offshore/onshore delivery models
- Reduction in order exceptions and fallout
- Improved order cycle time and SLA adherence
- High-quality, low-defect releases
- Strong stakeholder satisfaction and adoption of Infios OMS capabilities
