The Opportunity

As a key contributor to the strategic growth of the Dexus real asset business, The Fund Product Development Manager will be responsible for the establishment of new funds, mandates and joint ventures with a primary focus on real-estate product establishment.

As project leader you will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to execute business development initiatives. Your role requires end to end project management with responsibility including new fund product concept design, investor marketing, deal structuring and negotiation of key terms, transaction underwriting and due diligence, leading ultimately to deal execution.

You will make an impact by coordinating and executing on the following workstreams:

  • Project management responsibility including the coordination of internal stakeholders such as sector teams and other key stakeholder teams including distribution,  legal, tax and finance.

  • New product concept design and internal business case approval process

  • Creating investor marketing materials and capital raising documents / pitches, and supporting investor due diligence

  • Deal structuring including optimising holding and capital structures

  • Preparing and presenting papers for the Board, Investment Committee and other management committees

About You

The ideal candidate will present 3-5 years’ experience within financial advisory, investment management or private equity and real-estate or real-assets specific experience. You will be experienced in project management, utilising underwriting and valuation methodologies, as well as bring demonstrated experience operating in a dynamic environment with large-scale transactions. Partnered with strong verbal and written communication skills, you will be an independent thinker and showcase comfort in dealing with ambiguity and problem solving.
