We are currently seeking an exceptional Gen AI Architect to join our Sydney team—a role designed for a visionary technologist ready to drive innovation and transform our business landscape. As part of our team, you won’t just be observing the AI revolution; you will be actively architecting it. You will take ownership of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge generative AI systems that solve complex challenges and deliver genuine value to our clients and communities.

In this pivotal position, your primary focus will be the creation of scalable and efficient AI architectures. You will translate high-level business requirements into robust technical solutions, leveraging the latest in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and generative models. This involves not only implementing and optimizing state-of-the-art systems—such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and conversational AI—but also conducting the deep research necessary to keep NCS at the forefront of technological advancements. You will be the technical anchor ensuring our solutions are innovative, reliable, and built for the future.

Beyond the code, this role is about delivering a high-quality result for our clients. You will define the strategies for data acquisition and preprocessing, ensuring that our AI systems are high-quality, unbiased, and ethically sound. Collaboration is at the heart of how we work; you will partner closely with Software and Data Engineers and DevOps teams to deploy these models into production environments seamlessly. Furthermore, you will serve as a mentor to other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence that elevates the entire practice.

• Previous experience in a Similar role Architecting Gen AI Solutions 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++, with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and experience with generative AI models.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying and scaling AI systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and develop efficient solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Significant experience in developing and deploying AI/ML systems, with a proven track record of successful projects.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and model training, including handling and preprocessing large datasets.
• Experience in designing and implementing AI architectures and pipelines, with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialist, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer) are preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of specific domains or industries where generative AI can be applied (e.g., content generation, chatbots, language models) is a plus.
