Due to an internal secondment, we are looking for a 6-month contractor to come in as our General Manager, Operations for our Class business. This role will be responsible for supporting the efficient and compliant delivery of customer focused solutions across all Class business lines (Class, NowInfinity, Growth and Solutions).


You will lead the Process Improvement & Delivery, Risk & Compliance, Training & Education and Data Enablement team. This role is accountable for governance and program management of key initiatives, Line 1 Risk Management (aligned to the HUB24 Group Risk Framework), optimising our education and training offerings for clients, and overseeing our key business enablement systems such as Salesforce and Billing/Data Platforms working closely with the Growth and Finance business lines.


This role is a 6 month contract role based in our Sydney CBD office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Executing the strategy for the Operations vertical to achieve its goals while aligned to the Class and HUB24 group strategy and goals, with input and direction from the broader Class leadership team.
  • Working closely with the Class CEO and leadership team to deliver Class and HUB24 Group goals.
  • Direct responsibility for the vertical P&L, planning and management of budget.
  • Board and management reporting.
  • Execute Operations vertical business strategies and meet business objectives.
  • Overseeing daily business activities, improving overall business functions, and communicating business goals.
  • Support Class to achieve business targets for the operations vertical.
  • Drive the delivery of data analytics and insights for product features and road map.
  • Build and maintain a high performing culture aligned to the values of Class and HUB24 while lifting engagement.
  • Evaluate business performance, productivity, and competitiveness, monitoring financial activities, analysing accounting and financial data.
  • Reporting and presenting to the Class and HUB24 Boards. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in equivalent senior manager positions.
  • 10+ years of experience leading team sizes (total downlines) of 20+ direct and indirect reports.
  • Higher tertiary qualified, preferred in Business, Finance and/or Accounting. Post-graduate qualifications are also highly desirable.
  • Experience with responsibility for P&L accountability, and input to strategic direction.
  • Strong commercial business acumen with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • High level of leadership capability, with prior experience in leadership, coaching, people development and training. 
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including at an Executive level and Board communication.
