The Opportunity

The Senior Product Manager plays a key role in driving the development and continued evolution of a new implantable product system, executing product strategy from concept through to commercialisation. This is a global role involving significant coordination across R&D, clinical and regional teams, as well as multiple product managers to support system-level features and integration.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Product Strategy, New Product Development and Launch - Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D to drive product development from concept to commercialisation for the global implants portfolio.

  • Market and Category Analysis, Customer Insights and Engagement - Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify opportunities for growth, assess competitor landscape, anticipate future trends, and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the cochlear implants space.

  • New Product Launch Excellence - Support product launches across global markets, developing and executing launch plans in partnership with cross-functional teams.

  • Product Lifecycle Management - Manage the product lifecycle with a continued focus on maximising customer and commercial value.

  • Regional Support - Partner with regional teams to support the product portfolio and ensure alignment with market needs.

 

About You

To add value in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Product management experience in the medical device space

  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and partner with technical groups such as R&D

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills

  • Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences (e.g. technical teams and senior stakeholders)

  • Strong customer orientation

  • Analytical capability and ability to work with complex information

  • Ability to operate across commercial and technical environments
