Team Global Express is seeking a strategic Head of Commercial – Express Parcels (EP) to lead financial performance and profitability initiatives across our Express Parcels division.
 

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Commercial Finance, this is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, optimising unit cost metrics and providing actionable insights to guide decision-making. You will lead a high-performing team, build advanced reporting and dashboards and collaborate with senior stakeholders to align financial strategies with operational performance.
 

What you’ll do:
  • Lead and mentor a team of commercial managers, fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • Develop profitability insights and executive dashboards to enable data-driven decisions.

  • Drive initiatives to optimise revenue, margin, and unit cost performance across EP Road, EP Air, and Ecommerce.

  • Partner with pricing and sales teams to support strategic pricing decisions and maximise growth.

  • Build and implement dynamic reporting systems for real-time performance tracking.

  • Work closely with GMs of operations and EGMs to align financial strategies with operational goals.

  • Conduct scenario modelling and track productivity initiatives to assess financial impact.

  • Provide high-quality insights, recommendations, and presentations to senior management.

  • Champion continuous improvement in business performance reporting.

  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, with expertise in revenue optimisation and cost management.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive collaboration across diverse business units.

  • Experience in scenario modelling, financial performance reporting, and executive-level communication.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to balance detail with big-picture thinking.
