As we scale toward our 2030 strategy, this pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape how data drives innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric solutions - transforming it from a fragmented resource into a trusted, strategic asset.

We’re seeking a visionary leader with a business mindset to champion enterprise-wide data strategy, transformation, and governance. This role sits at the forefront of driving data value, enablement, and governance across design, manufacturing, commercial, digital health, and regulatory functions. What You’ll Do

As the Head of Data Transformation, you will:

  • Develop and lead ResMed’s enterprise-wide data strategy aligned to strategic and operational goals.
  • Identify high-impact use cases, KPIs, and business outcomes across commercial, clinical, product, and operational domains.
  • Chair the Data Governance Council and lead the engagement regarding data across all data domain leaders
  • Establish an organisational wide strategy for analytics, data visualisation and insights that will be then implemented by distributed analytics teams across the business
  • Accelerate our data culture by defining and building trust in the 'metrics that matter' for our 2030 strategy.
  • Drive the evolution of data and information culture within Resmed by being the champion for Data Literacy and maturity
  • Partner with all business functions where data and information is a core competitive advantage to promote Resmed’s strategy

You will also establish and lead our data governance framework:

  • Define and implement data ownership, stewardship, and accountability structures.
  • Align governance practices with data strategies and integrate them into platform, analytics, and master data initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and mitigate data risks.
  • Promote accountability for data assets across their lifecycle and prepare for audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Create communication plans and training programs to embed governance into daily operations and build a data-literate culture.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in leading enterprise-wide data strategies, governance frameworks, and analytics initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles including data ownership, stewardship, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of data policies and embed governance into business operations.
  • Previous expertise in data visualization, storytelling, and advanced analytics to influence decision-making.
  • Experience with scalable infrastructure, data platforms, and machine learning solutions. You will also have some exposure of applying Data to AI Use Cases.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and experience preparing for audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to collaborate across business units, engineering, legal, and compliance teams to align data strategies.
  • Excellent communication and change management skills to promote a data-literate culture.
