Your role

At Allens, our business teams are specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.

You'll be a part of our Marketing and Client Services (MCS) team based in Sydney or Melbourne, reporting to the General Manager, Marketing, Communications, Brand and Digital.

As the Head of Digital CX & Marketing Technology you will:

  • Lead the centres of excellence that develop and support the firm's digital client experiences; marketing technologies; client data analytics and reporting; and design / visual brand systems.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing environment, mentoring team members and driving cross-team collaboration.

  • Lead change management and transformation of current and future marketing technologies, and related processes and behaviours - turning strategy into practical solutions that drive exceptional client experience, business growth and operational efficiency.

  • Nurture settings that continuously orient digital client experiences and design solutions (including websites, digital interfaces, visual brand systems) around best practices, and the organisation's brand and client promise.

  • Navigate opportunities with senior stakeholders, solving complex problems and driving strategic decision-making.

  • Directly build strategy, roadmaps, and business cases with a deep understanding of business strategy and stakeholder expectations.

  • Own the governance framework for digital interfaces and visual brand systems, ensuring best-practice processes.

About you

You will have:

  • Significant experience in a similar, senior role(s) with people management experience - ideally of team members and other people managers – in a professional services or complex corporate environment.

  • Deep experience leading significant marketing technology transformation in a business environment that is oriented around nurturing client relationships.

  • Experience with the lifecycle of client data management (including engagement, marketing and business development data) – from capturing data to delivering actionable insights to the business.

  • Experience leading functions that create and evolve market-facing digital interfaces and brand assets, through all stages of the UX, design and development process.

  • The ability to build trust quickly with a range of stakeholders and within your team.

  • A passion for being hands while still thinking strategically, taking ownership of a range of projects in different capacities.

  • Experience aligning organisational strategy with marketing strategy to create tangible outcomes.

  • A proactive approach to your work, seeking out opportunities to collaborate across a marketing and business development function.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage upwards and sustain the engagement and confidence of those you work with.

  • A desire to learn, grow, network, and mentor others.
