Job Title: Head of Marketing - ANZ UFS

Location: Sydney, Australia

Function: Marketing

The Head of Marketing – ANZ is responsible for defining and delivering the end-to-end marketing growth agenda across Australia and New Zealand. This role leads the development of operator-centric strategies, brand and portfolio growth, digital transformation, and demand generation, ensuring UFS wins in an increasingly competitive and fast-evolving foodservice market.

The role sits on the ANZ Leadership Team as well as that of the UKI-ANZ PU LT. The role is accountable for building a high-performing, future-fit marketing organisation, driving sustainable growth through insight-led innovation, market leading communication and trade activation as well as driving for data-driven decision making across the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Growth Strategy & IBP Leadership

  • Define and lead the ANZ marketing strategy aligned to UFS global and regional priorities

  • Own marketing inputs into Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and deliver against financial targets (e.g. growth, penetration, funnel sufficiency)

  • Identify and unlock new growth spaces, segments and channels (e.g. chains, digital acquisition, new cuisines)

  • Translate global strategy into locally relevant execution plans

2. Brand, Portfolio & Innovation

  • Lead the end-to-end portfolio strategy across core and growth segments

  • Drive insight-led innovation pipelines and ensure strong funnel sufficiency to fuel growth

  • Deliver best-in-class brand campaigns that increase penetration, reach, share and deliver against innovation business objectives.

3. Operator-Centric Demand Generation

  • Develop and execute integrated demand generation strategies across all operator touchpoints

  • Lead customer marketing and channel strategy across key segments (including Casual Dining, QSR, Aged Care, Catering)

  • Ensure seamless end-to-end operator journeys across physical and digital touchpoints

  • Embed UFS’s proposition of providing solutions, including commercialising the Future Menus platform in ANZ.

4. Digital, Data & E-commerce Transformation

  • Own the digital marketing and eCommerce agenda across ANZ

  • Lead development and execution of digital strategy, ensuring learnings and improvements are adopted to drive results.

  • Ensure always-on strategy delivers chef centric content that converts.

5. Category & Insights Leadership

  • Leverage market, operator, and customer insights to inform strategy and decision-making.

  • Champion the use of data and analytics to drive commercial outcomes and prioritisation across the ANZ team.

  • Build strong category growth frameworks and support CD to represent these externally.

6. Team & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing marketing team across ANZ

  • Build capabilities in digital, data, innovation, and commercial marketing

  • Foster a culture of accountability, agility and continuous improvement

  • Drive strong engagement and organisational health (e.g. Univoice, ways of working)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Significant experience in senior marketing leadership role, ideally in FMCG or foodservice

  • Proven track record in driving growth through brand, portfolio and innovation strategy

  • Strong expertise in digital marketing, data analytics, and demand generation

  • Ability to translate insights into commercial outcomes

  • Experience operating in complex, matrix organisations with global/local interfaces

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder influencing skills
