Lead master franchising strategy and partner selection for new market entry. Structure and negotiate master franchise agreements, conduct market feasibility and financial modeling, define market entry roadmaps with KPIs, coordinate cross-functional launch activities, onboard and enable franchisees, and monitor compliance and performance while advising senior leadership.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the master franchising strategy for entry into new markets
- Identify, evaluate, and secure high-caliber master franchise partners aligned with long-term brand objectives
- Lead end-to-end deal structuring and negotiation of master franchise agreements, including territory rights, development schedules, royalty structures, and supply chain frameworks
- Conduct market feasibility studies, financial modeling, and competitive landscape analysis
- Define market entry roadmaps and growth plans with clear KPIs and performance milestones
- Partner cross-functionally with legal, finance, operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless market launch
- Oversee onboarding and enablement of new master franchisees, ensuring brand standards and operational excellence
- Establish governance frameworks to monitor franchisee performance and ensure compliance with development commitments
- Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with franchise partners
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on market expansion priorities
- 10+ years of experience in franchising, international expansion, or multi-unit F&B development
- Proven track record of structuring and negotiating master franchise agreements across international markets
- Strong financial acumen with experience in franchise economics, P&L management, and investment modeling
- Deep understanding of royalty structures, development schedules, territorial rights, and supply chain economics
- Experience entering new markets and building partnerships from early-stage negotiations through launch
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management capabilities
- Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners
- Exceptional cross-cultural communication and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
- Ability to travel internationally as required
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business degree preferred
