Job Summary

Plenti is poised to expand its footprint in the automotive finance sector, especially through partnerships with leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and dealerships. We are seeking a strategic and driven leader to become our Head of OEM and Dealership Finance. In this senior role, you will be pivotal in managing and growing our existing OEM partnerships with industry leaders like Tesla, Cadillac, and Harley Davidson, while also spearheading efforts to secure new partnerships and expand our presence in offering finance solutions to dealers.

Key Responsibilities
• Drive Growth: Lead strategies to drive growth within the OEM and dealership finance vertical, aligning with Plenti’s overall business objectives. Oversee lending volumes generated through OEM partnerships and dealerships, ensuring targets are achieved and exceeded.
• Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive vision for OEM and dealership finance initiatives, across both short and medium term horizons, ensuring the business can adapt to market dynamics and emerging opportunities
• Relationship Management: Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within the automotive ecosystem, including across manufacturers, dealer groups and dealerships.
• Partnership growth: Manage and nurture existing relationships with Tesla, Cadillac, and Harley Davidson, whilst also working to secure new partnerships with automotive manufacturers, with a focus on expanding within the electric vehicle market.
• Product Innovation: Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative digital, dealership and wholesale finance products that meet the needs of consumers and OEM/dealer partners, including establishing our roadmap to deliver a full-suite of dealer finance solutions (including floorplan)
•  Team management: Hire, coach, and mentor a team across sales and product to foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and collaboration
• Market Insight: Maintain awareness of competitive landscapes, emerging finance trends, and automotive developments to keep Plenti’s offerings relevant
• Advocacy and Representation: Act as Plenti’s representative in the automotive finance market, drawing on the company’s reputation as a technology and customer experience leader to cement Plenti as a trusted and innovative partner for dealers and OEMs

Key Qualifications
• Proven experience in the automotive finance sector, fintech, or financial services, with a strong understanding of OEM and dealership dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to set and execute business strategies that align with organizational objectives, driving growth and market share.
• Strong experience in managing and developing high-performing sales and partnership teams.
• Expertise in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with OEMs, dealerships, or other key stakeholders in the automotive ecosystem.
• Exceptional ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including manufacturers, dealerships, and industry organizations, to identify and secure growth opportunities.
• Deep knowledge of market dynamics, competitor landscapes, and product development in the automotive finance space.
• Strong analytical capabilities paired with excellent communication and presentation skills.
