Company Description

Enero is a collective of boutique marketing communications agencies operating across three service pillars: creative and content, integrated communications and PR, and digital, data, analytics and technology. With major hubs in Sydney, London, New York, and San Francisco, we operate across 13 countries and count some of the world's most ambitious brands among our clients.

Our environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and genuinely fun, but our standards are anything but relaxed. Industry awards line our walls, and our people are the reason why.

Job Description

Enero is a global group of creative and marketing agencies, and our three Australian agencies are growing and changing. We are adopting AI, bringing our offshore and onshore teams together as one, and automating and simplifying how P&C works.

We’re looking for a commercially minded Head of People & Culture who thrives on being close to the action partnering with our agency CEOs, tackling people challenges as they arise, and helping drive meaningful transformation over a contract of up to 12 months.

Based in our Sydney office, you’ll play a pivotal role across the People & Culture division, balancing hands-on operational delivery with strategic leadership to support our agencies and shape the next phase of our transformation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work side by side with the CEOs of our three Australian agencies as their trusted P&C partner on org design, workforce planning, performance and culture
  • Drive responsible AI adoption: building skills and capability, and reshaping roles, workflows and policy
  • Continue to integrate our offshore teams so they work seamlessly with onshore teams, from onboarding and ways of working to performance and culture
  • Work with our Global Chief People Officer and global P&C team to standardise, simplify and automate P&C programs and ways of working
  • Lead employee relations, talent, and performance and reward cycles that are objective, merit based and enable high performance
  • Champion culture, DE&I and wellbeing
  • Lead and develop a small P&C team

Qualifications

  • Significant experience as a Senior P&C Business Partner or Head of P&C in an agency, creative or professional services business, working directly with CEOs
  • Demonstrated experience driving or enabling transformation, both with the business and within the P&C team
  • Hands-on with AI: you use it directly and have driven AI adoption, process improvement or automation in P&C
  • Experience integrating or working with offshore and distributed teams across time zones is ideal
  • Strong Australian employment law and ER skills; you're happy to get into the detail
  • Commercial, calm and credible with CEOs and creative leaders, and a natural coach who can lead a small team and still do the work

This role offers a genuine seat at the table as a key member of the P&C leadership team with real influence. You’ll join a diverse, global group with a vibrant Sydney home base and be part of a culture that’s fast-moving and ambitious, yet casual, collaborative, and people-first.

The position provides exposure to a broad and varied portfolio of responsibilities, ensuring no two days are the same, and you’ll contribute to industry-recognised work with a proud track record of awards across our agency brands.
