The legal industry is undergoing its biggest transformation in decades, and LexisNexis is leading the way.

We're looking for an accomplished sales leader to lead our ANZ sales function, driving growth across both existing customer relationships and new business opportunities while accelerating adoption of our next-generation Legal AI solutions, including Lexis+ AI and Protege.

This role is responsible for protecting and growing our market-leading legal research business while helping customers embrace AI-powered legal technology that is transforming how legal professionals research, draft, analyse and make decisions.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Pacific, you'll lead a team of Relationship Managers and New Business Development professionals, building capability, driving performance and creating a high-performance sales culture that delivers exceptional customer outcomes.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership role with accountability for sales strategy, revenue growth, customer retention, expansion and new business acquisition across the Pacific market.

You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Client Experience and Operations teams to ensure customers receive maximum value from our content, technology and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading sales strategy and performance across relationship management, retention and new business development.

  • Driving customer retention, renewal, expansion and acquisition outcomes.

  • Coaching, developing and enabling a high-performing sales team.

  • Building executive-level customer relationships and supporting complex commercial engagements.

  • Championing AI-powered legal technology solutions and helping customers navigate evolving legal workflows.

  • Driving forecasting accuracy, pipeline discipline, CRM adoption and performance reporting.

About You

You are an experienced sales leader who combines strong commercial acumen with a passion for developing people and delivering customer outcomes.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience leading sales, account management or customer growth teams.

  • A strong track record of delivering revenue growth, retention and expansion outcomes.

  • Experience within SaaS, Technology, Legal Tech, Information Services or Professional Services environments.

  • Strong coaching and leadership capability with experience building successful teams.

  • Executive stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience using forecasting, pipeline management and sales analytics to drive results.

  • An interest in AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to translate technology into customer value.

Experience with legal technology, legal research platforms, legal workflow software or AI-enabled solutions will be highly regarded.
