PeopleCert is looking for a Head of UX/UI who will be responsible for rolling out the company’s Digital First strategy, ensuring our digital touchpoints are designed to deliver the best possible customer experience and achieve the highest possible conversion rates. Your work will drive PeopleCert’s approach on several digital domains such as both UX/UI design, optimization and analytics.
As a Head of UX/UI, your tasks will include the following:
- Lead a team of empowered UX professionals that deliver UX design services across the organization.
- Oversee the end-to-end digital experience design for all PeopleCert’s target users and touchpoints. This includes but is not limited to our sales and marketing websites as well as the self-service, after-login touchpoints and environments.
- Take ownership and operationalize UX research methodologies for increasing the company’s understanding of user needs and behavioural patterns.
- Create artifacts such as personas, empathy maps and customer journey maps to crystalize our understanding of PeopleCert’s customer/partners’ segments.
- Drive the UX optimization initiatives for aforementioned digital properties
- Work closely with digital channel managers in order to understand their expectations and channel roadmap and be able to design the respective journeys.
What we look for:
- BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field, a Master’s degree, and relevant international certifications will be appreciated.
- 6+ years of proven UX/UI experience in related field.
- Background in management UX/UI team.
- Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification desired, or certificate would be a plus).
- Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
- Knowledge of Figma design tool.
- User-centric approach to managing and designing digital touchpoints.
- Ability to recognize and prioritize the right initiatives to drive business growth.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation & communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Well organized, strong teamwork approach and team motivator, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check.
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.
In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
