Position Summary/Objectives of Incumbent:
The purpose of this position is to support for ANZ on people processes, initiatives and improvements within the HR function to ensure a seamless employee experience and ensure compliance requirements are met.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for ANZ employees and leaders, advising on people matters, employee relations, performance, and HR compliance.  
  • Coach managers on performance management, feedback, conflict resolution, and development planning.  
  • Exercise sound judgment on employee relations and policy application, escalating high-risk, precedent-setting, or complex matters to the Senior HR Manager promptly. 
  • Drive onboarding, assimilation, and employee experience initiatives. 
  • Support local recruitment activities with TA; participate in interviews where needed and assist in raising ORC (headcount) requisitions for vacancies
  • Register Customer Engineers and similar roles for medicals
  • Administer the onboarding process for new starters and offboarding process for leavers
  • Coordinate the Flare Benefits program 
  • Execute ANZ‑specific HR processes such as payroll changes, HRIS updates, exit management, and employee documentation. Prepare reports and trackers, e.g., recruitment, turnover, exit interview feedback, etc
  • Maintain employee files and trackers
  • Distribute information re the EAP program, AGS financial services, etc
  • Perform other coordination and administrative duties as required for the HR function

Continuous Improvement:

  • Find and support opportunities to improve efficiencies, time and processes within the HR function

WHS, Environment & Quality:

  • Comply with all Work, Health & Safety, Environment and Quality obligations
  • Actively promote safety in the workplace

Education/Qualification:
  • Specialisation in HR
Specialist Knowledge:
  • HRIS functionality
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, etc
Practical Experience: 
  • Approximately 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Working with teams at all levels of the business
