Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau
  • Ensure dashboards meet UI, accessibility, and usability best practices
  • Develop and maintain SQL views and data pipelines
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
  • Maintain documentation including specifications and user guides
  • Monitor service desk tickets and meet SLAs for issue resolution

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Tableau dashboard development and support
  • Proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and database management
  • Experience with data visualisation, data storytelling, and analytics
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
  • Experience with Tableau Online environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot from visualisation layer through to database
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously or in a team

You are naturally inquisitive, highly analytical, and passionate about delivering high-quality work. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy solving complex problems, and can communicate insights clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Relevant bachelor degree plus at least 1 year of experience as a business analyst or at least 5 years of experience as a business analyst in lieu of a relevant degree

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with Data Factory or data automation tools
  • Exposure to Power BI
