About the business/team
This role is part of the Business Services Group, Banking department. Business Services Group is responsible for the provision of banking and payments services to Australian Government agencies, the provision of payment settlement services to Australian financial system participants through the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS) and the Fast Settlement Service (FSS), the conduct of Exchange Settlement Accounts and the production and issuance of Australian banknotes. Banking Department provides a range of banking services to Australian Government departments. This role will be within Change Delivery team in Banking department who is responsible for uplifting & maintaining banking payment infrastructure.
About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Implementation Coordinator to support the delivery of banking technology initiatives within Agile squads. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, development teams, and operations to plan and implement software features, enhancements, and production releases. You will play a critical role in ensuring changes are communicated and delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with banking standards, while enabling seamless customer and operational outcomes.
Changes can be large or small, functional or technical, offering a role with great variety including working closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Testers and IT to ensure BK service disruption free production releases.

About You
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with experience in coordinating changes to wide variety of stakeholders
You thrive in Agile teams, enjoy collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders, and can confidently bridge the gap between the two.
You have a good appetite to learn release processes, and change governance, and you take ownership of ensuring smooth, low-risk implementations.
You are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working under pressure during release cycles, and maintaining a high standard of accuracy and control.
You are a clear communicator, able to explain changes in simple terms to stakeholders at all levels.
You bring a mindset of continuous improvement, actively identifying ways to enhance delivery efficiency, automation, and team effectiveness.
You are risk-aware and compliance-focused, understanding the importance of controls, auditability, and regulatory obligations in banking.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Agile squads (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA) to support planning and delivery of software features and enhancements.
Plan and coordinate the implementation of new features, system upgrades, and configuration changes into production.
Define rollout strategies, deployment plans, and back-out procedures aligned with release governance.
Ensure all pre-release checkpoints and approvals are completed.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, risk, and compliance teams to align on implementation scope.
Communicate status updates, risks, and impacts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure readiness of pre-production, and production environments.
Ensure all implementations comply with banking regulations, audit standards, and internal controls.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with production changes.
Maintain implementation plans, release notes, and operational runbooks/runsheets.
Ensure effective handover to support and operations teams.
