Job Title

Implementations Manager - Clover/POS

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Implementation Manager to coordinate the successful deployment and activation of Clover solutions for merchants across Australia.

This role is the central point of coordination between merchants, logistics providers, installation technicians, sales teams and internal support functions, ensuring devices are delivered, installed and activated successfully.

This is a highly operational and customer-facing role focused on installation readiness, deployment coordination, testing issue resolution, demonstration/training and merchant experience. The role ensures the successful delivery, installation, configuration, and activation of Clover solutions through close coordination with merchants, logistics providers, field technicians, and internal teams, while technical development and software engineering activities remain the responsibility of dedicated product and technology teams.

Success in this role is measured by on-time implementations, installation success rates, merchant satisfaction, go-live outcomes and the ability to coordinate seamless deployment experiences for our customers.

What you will do

    • Manage high-valued, large scale merchant implementations from onboarding through to go-live.
    • Act as the primary contact for merchants during deployment and installation.
    • Coordinate delivery schedules, installation appointments and activation activities with logistics providers and field technicians to ensure successful implementations.
    • Track implementation progress and proactively manage risks, delays and escalations.
    • Ensure merchants are prepared for installation activation.
    • Coordinate issue resolution between merchants, technicians, vendors and internal teams.
    • Support training and deployment initiatives (eg: integration, menu build).
    • Support UAT and rollout activities by validating Clover applications, integrations, devices, printers and menu changes, documenting issues and coordinating resolution with development teams.
    • Maintain implementation reporting and deployment tracking.
    • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and customer experience.

What you will need to have

    • Experience in implementation, deployment, customer onboarding, service delivery or operations coordination.
    • Hands-on experience configuring Clover solutions, including devices, applications, merchant settings, menus and integrated payment environments.
    • Demonstrated experience validating integrations, troubleshooting configuration and deployment issues, and coordinating resolution across product, development, support and vendor teams.
    • Experience planning and executing application testing and UAT, documenting defects and coordinating release readiness, communications and rollout activities.
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Experience coordinating field services, installations, logistics or customer deployments.
    • Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
    • Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
    • Customer-focused with a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Nice to Have

    • Experience in payments, technology, Hospitality SAAS, retail technology, SaaS, logistics or field services.
    • Experience working with third-party vendors, installation partners or logistics providers.
    • Experience managing customer implementation or onboarding programs.
